Kanye west won the “Shoe of the year” award  

Yesterday, during the  Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York City, Kanye West received a particular distinction he was nominated and won the “Shoe of the year” award.

Indeed, yesterday, Wednesday December 2nd, Yeezy received during the Footwear News Achievement ceremony, an award rewarding the best sneaker of the year thanks to his Yeezy Boost 350. Ok, between us, do we really need an award to assure that those sneakers were ones of the best sneakers of this year 2015 ? Not necessarily, anyway, the footwear news made of this whole story an official thing by establishing it with a reward.
This award is very imortant for Kanye, because it proves that he has a certain taste in fashion despite critics – but it is also special for Jon Wexler,  adidas’ Global Director of Entertainment and Influencer Marketing.
During his thankful speech, Kanye wanted to make a tribute to Mr Wexler, because according to him, Jon “saved his life”, he stated “Jon Wexler saved my life. He knows about Chicago culture. When you go out to work with someone, know their back story,” 
At the risk of never becoming the next president of the United States, maybe he could be the next Adidas’ CEO. Why not ?
